Most of us knew it was coming back on March the 12th when Loreen was crowned champion, now we know it, Sweden are the victors in Eurovision Song Contest 2012.

It has been revealed today that there will be no live results, but there will be a video on youtube, with the whole show on, just without the host.

The Recap video for the Wildcard competition is up, two songs from this selection will advance to the final.

Sweden has just been selected to host LM 2 after a bidding process against 5 other cities, two being from Sweden. Stockholm will host LM 2on the 20th of July.

Voting for these five songs will continue untill the 30th of May

The 5 qualifiers will be announced tonight. 

The Final of Musik Festivalen 1, which will take place on the 27th May, will be a spectacular show. Timoteij will kick it off with The performance of Stormande Hav. Then a recap of the 12 songs will be played. After that the Jury votes will be announced. Then the Public votes will be announced. After the winner is announced, the winning song will be performed again. The winner will be Sweden's entry at Love of Music 2, held in Switzerland or Sweden.

In Melodifestivalen, songs are submitted, then a professional jury selects 16 to compete. Here it is slightly different, 16 songs have been selected to compete at Musik Festivalen 2. One a day will be presented. 2 songs will qualify from the wildcard. Then on the 31st of May, the running order for all the semis will be announced along with the other 14 songs and the two wildcards.
